NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – A 47-year-old man was found dead this morning, reportedly from multiple stab wounds, according to a release from the North Las Vegas Police Department.
Dispatch got a call near 3 a.m. about a suspicious situation at a home in the 2800 block of Haddock Avenue, near Las Vegas Boulevard North and Belmont Avenue.
The preliminary investigation indicates the slaying likely occurred inside the residence. Details are not being released at this time as detectives and crime scene investigators search for evidence.
Detectives are seeking public assistance locating a vehicle believed to be stolen from the residence following last night’s murder.
Detectives are trying to locate a 2006 white Dodge Sprinter cargo van with Nevada license plates 636 YFH taken from the victim's home in the 2800 block of Haddock Avenue
The identity and official cause of death of the victim will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
