LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Air Force One touched down at McCarran International Airport at this afternoon for the president's eighth appearance this year in Nevada.
The President landed at McCarran Airport shortly before 4 p.m. and is on his way to Cashman Center where he's set to speak tonight at 6:10.
That's where we find News 3's Denise Rosch. The mood of the speech may be more somber than originally anticipated. This was supposed to be a campaign stop and another chance for the President to pick up votes in Nevada.
Instead, we are expecting he'll address recent events in Libya and Egypt as well. Supporters showed up early and waited in line to get a good spot inside.
Obama will speak before a Democratic campaign audience at a convention hall just north of downtown Las Vegas before departing for Denver.
