LAS VEGAS (KSNV & AP) -- President Barack Obama will make another campaign visit to Las Vegas on Sunday.
The Obama campaign staff confirmed an earlier report by News 3's Jon Ralston that Obama will make his eighth visit to Nevada this year when he speaks at a "grassroots event." yet to be detailed. Details have not been released.
News 3 will have more details on the visit when they become available.
Nevada is a key battleground state in the upcoming election. Early voting begins Oct. 20.
Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney campaigned in Las Vegas on Friday and has made six visits to Nevada since April.
The Sunday visit will be Obama's 15th to Nevada since he became president. Romney has made 16 visits to the state in the past two years.
