LAS VEGAS -- John Oceguera, Nevada Assembly Speaker, and candidate for Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District, will lead a roundtable discussion with college students at noon today at the UNLV Student Union.
He will discuss the importance of an educated workforce to Nevada’s economic future and how to make college more affordable for low and middle-income families.
Oceguera will discuss the impacts of education on building a middle class life for his family, and he will encourage college students here in Southern Nevada to share their experiences and ideas.
Oceguera faces Joe Heck for the U.S. House of Representative seat.
