LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – One person is dead and two are injured after an exchange of gunfire this morning in the 2900 block of North Rainbow Boulevard.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says four suspects knocked on a door of an apartment. When the door opened, the suspects began firing. The occupants of the apartment returned fire, killing one of the assailants.

A man and woman, along with an infant, were in the apartment. The adults were injured, but not from gunshots, Metro says.

Three suspects remain at large. Metro says it recovered a car belonging to the suspects.

Metro is continuing its investigation.

And the investigation goes on and on and on. Metro won't allow anyone in or out as the entrance and exit are part of the crime scene. Missed a days work because of this crap!!!
