LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – One person is dead after being ejected from a vehicle following a rollover accident Monday night at the Interstate 15-215 interchange.
The Nevada Highway Patrol said the victim was not wearing a seatbelt. The victim was attempting to head westbound on the 215 from the northbound 15 around 10:30 p.m. when the accident occurred.
NHP said alcohol or drugs likely were not a factor.
It was the second fatal accident Monday in the NHP jurisdiction. A pedestrian was struck and killed Monday morning attempting to cross Blue Diamond Road just west of Decatur Boulevard.
