LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – One man is dead and a suspect is in custody after reports of a stabbing this morning in the 3600 block of South Arville Street.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release that Quincy Taylor, 25, has been charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon and one count of burglary.

Metro’s Dispatch Center received several calls just after 1:50 a.m. saying that a man had possibly been stabbed in an apartment. Arriving patrol officers located an adult male, identified by the Clark County coroner's office as 46-year-old Jeffery Colicci of Las Vegas, inside of the apartment deceased from apparent stab wounds.

It was determined Taylor and Colicci were acquainted with each other and had been involved in a physical altercation just before Colicci's body was found.
