LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Metro Homicide detectives have identified a second juvenile suspect in an robbery attempt in which a woman was shot and killed on Saturday, Sept. 28.
Fabian Diaz, 16, has been certified as an adult and booked into the Clark County Detention Center where he faces several charges including murder with a deadly weapon.
Diaz also faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder, attempted robbery with deadly weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Previously, William Copeland, 19, was booked into the Clark County jail on murder and robbery charges after the shooting late Saturday night.
Investigators say the woman was walking on a sidewalk when a Diaz and Copeland pulled up in a vehicle.
Copeland is accused of trying to rob the woman at gunpoint and shooting her when she refused to cooperate.
