LAS VEGAS -- Authorities say three people are dead and one person is injured in what may have begun as a domestic violence incident on Smoke Ranch near Jones Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called around 4:20 p.m. to a report of shots fired on the on the 2200 block of La Sombra.
A SWAT unit responded to the home after reports of gun shots were heard.
Police have shut down Jones traveling north and southbound between Eugene and Smoke Ranch and urge motorist to avoid the area.
