LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- A man has been arrested in connection to a gruesome homicide more than eight years ago.
Marco Romero Laguna, 28, has been charged with murder with a deadly weapon. Metro detectives used DNA evidence to tie him to the crime.
In August 2004, a construction worker found the burned remains of a woman near Sam Boyd Stadium. That woman was later identified as Latoshia Williams.
Police didn't have to search too hard to find Laguna. He's already in prison on another murder charge.
Laguna was recently extradited back to Clark County. He is expected to be in court later this week.
