Rebeca Ferreira was a victim herself once. She escaped and founded
Safe Faith United.
The non-profit helps victims, survivors, and family of domestic violence.
Ferreira says domestic violence is a choice and encourages education of youths and programs for men.
“If we teach men how to exercise their control that they need to have in a nonviolent way, that should be a solution to the problem,” Ferreira said.
Safe Faith United offers services for both English and Spanish speakers.
