LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- A document that appears to look like a reward from the Eighth Judicial District Court is a scam.

As legitimate as it appears, a closer look at the document shows mistakes, but what is most concerning is a listed fee.

The document says, thanks to a judgment, you are owed tens of thousands of dollars, but that can only be received if a $2,000 fee is paid first.

A court spokesperson says that's a huge red flag. If you receive this document, call the clerk’s office at (702) 671-0530 or report the matter to law enforcement.
