LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- A man who says he was robbed at gunpoint by two men posing as Mormon missionaries is telling his story.

Terence Delucia took the stand on Tuesday as a local judge is deciding if there's enough evidence to send the case to trial.

DeLucia says he was wrestling for his life when he was assaulted by two strangers after he answered a knock at his front door.

“He told me to leave my face in the chair or he was going to shoot me, so I left my face in the chair,” Delucia said.

During today's hearing Delucia says he was pistol whipped and left covered in blood during the robbery that happened back in June.

Two men, Robert Estall and Abraham Austin are charged in the case in which they were both seen on surveillance video posing as Mormon missionaries.

Delucia's home security system was rolling as two men approached his front door dressed as missionaries.

Delucia says he answered the knock and one of the men said, ‘we'd like to talk to you about Jesus Christ.’

When Delucia told the men it was a little early for such a visit at 6:30 a.m., the men forced their way into his house.

“I felt a hand over my mouth.. I was flailing and fighting... he got me on the ground, my chest was on the floor.. all his weight on me,” Delucia said.

Delucia says the men stole cash a small amount of marijuana, but he denies being a drug dealer. A point that could be important to the defense as this case winds through the system.
