LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Two men from Texas accused in the savage beating of a local limo driver say they didn't do it.
Emilio Ruvalcaba, 30, and Carlos Saenz, 27, entered their pleas this morning at the Regional Justice Center. Their trial date is set for Feb. 24.
The two face robbery, conspiracy and battery with substantial bodily harm charges.
Reports say that during this attack, the victim as well as the man who helped save her say the men claimed to be with the Mexican Mafia.
Police say the limousine driver picked up Ruvalcaba, Saenz and three others from Encore and headed to a liquor store.
Sensing that something wasn't right, the limo driver turned on her camera phone right before the attack. The grand jury indictment says she was punched and kicked in the head, suffering temporary blindness.
