LAS VEGAS – The Salvation Army provides two Christmas gifts for every family who qualifies for assistance each year. In recent past, nearly 2,000 families, 7,000 children, have been helped annually by the organization.
Registration will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at The Salvation Army North Las Vegas Center for Worship and Service, 2828 E. Cheyenne in North Las Vegas.
In order to receive assistance for your children, age newborn through 14, please have the following information: ID for each adult in the household, birth certificates for each child, income documentation for household, current utility bill in your name showing current address or lease with recent rent receipt. For guardians and/or foster parents, please bring legal documentation.
There will be an additional opportunity to sign up from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct, 20, at 2900 Palomino Lane, Las Vegas. The same information will be required in order to receive assistance.
