LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – One man is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting Tuesday night outside a convenience store.

Metro says the shooting occurred around 10:20 p.m. at a 7-Eleven in the 500 block of East Sahara Avenue, near Lynwood.

One witness said he saw a man on the ground near the store with a gunshot wound that was screaming incoherently.

When police arrived, they found a second gunshot victim in a nearby apartment.

Police say they believe that two groups of people met in the alley for an unknown reason. That led to a dispute, and someone pulled out a gun.

Two men were shot but were able to run from the alleyway. Both were taken to UMC, where one of them later died.

Police say they are searching for two suspects at this point.
