Six arrested in Boulder CIty counterfeit money operation

BOULDER CITY (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Three men and three women have been arrested on various charges related to a counterfeit money operation that was shut down Friday morning in Boulder City.

Members of the Boulder City Police Department, the Henderson Police Department and the U.S. Secret Service served search warrants at 1501 Nevada Highway in Boulder City after a month-long investigation into the making and exchanging of fake money.

Those arrested included Patrick James Covington, 26; Anthony Michael Williams, 30; Anthony David Tracy, 26; Ashley M. Gorman, 22; Alexis N. Keller, 20; and Lori M. Gardner, 22. The charges include burglary, making or possessing counterfeit currency with the intent to distribute and forgery. Williams was also charged with establishing a financial forgery laboratory. All six were booked into the Clark County Detention Center. They are scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning. Their bonds range from $5,000 to $20,000 on each charge.

Financial forgery labratory? If there is no law, they make up one. Isn't conterfieting it? A person does any one thing, but he gets multiple charges. The FBI won't release the real numbers on fake money becausr they are afraid to. Much less the stats on serial killers. Vegas police always release stats over a year later because they never do thier job. Only hassle and fine THE WORKING MAN!
