LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – Some local high school students made their families and country proud in a demanding and patriotic competition.

Junior ROTC students displayed their discipline Tuesday at the Clark County School District's 33rd annual drill meet at Cashman Center.

The event tests teamwork, leadership skills and physical fitness among other things.

In addition to developing team-building skills, the event also promotes good citizenship and patriotism.
