LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – A man was killed Monday night after police say his girlfriend ran him over in his own driveway.
Metro officers say they received a call concerning a domestic dispute just before 10 p.m. Monday for a residence near Rochelle Avenue and Mammoth Creek Drive. When they arrived, the victim was pinned underneath a silver car.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Witnesses reported the victim was standing behind the vehicle when the female backed her car out of the garage, running over the victim in the driveway.
As a result of the investigation Sounilak Ouchlaeun, 33, of Las Vegas was taken into custody. She is currently housed at the Clark County Detention Center where she faces charges of murder with deadly weapon.
Investigators removed the body around 6 a.m. today.
Police say there were no past reports of domestic violence for either the victim or the suspect.
The identity of the deceased and the exact cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
