LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Metro police officers are looking for up to six suspects in a Friday night shooting in the northeast part of the valley that sent two men to UMC Trauma, one in critical condition.
"Officers are still processing the scene, but early indications are that up to six shooters may have been involved," Officer Marcus Martin said this morning.
Metro said the shooting happened about 10 p.m. at the Cape Cod Apartments in the 4100 block of East Tonopah Avenue near Lamb and Owens.
Martin said a black man was shot in the head and was taken to UMC in critical condition. He did not have a condition update as of 10 a.m. today, but said the victim had not died.
The other victim was a Latin male who was shot in the shoulder. Martin did not have a condition status.
No suspects are in custody, Martin said.
Earlier Metro reports said the shooting was the result of a verbal altercation between four individuals.
