LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Up to a quarter-million people around the world were knocked off-line because of computer Malware.
The FBI had protected people with the Malware by having them use certain servers to connect to the internet.
But as of overnight, those servers were shut down to try to eliminate the Malware.
The Malware lurked on millions of computers worldwide.
It was the product of six Estonians who created it in Europe. It hijacked people's computers to turn them into advertising machines.
At the Henderson Laptop Exchange, Jonathan Waite tells us how to fix the problem. He has been seeing computers with the problem coming in all weekend long.
Waite’s advice is to invest in a good anti-virus problem and also contact your internet provider for help.
