NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Two people are dead and another in critical condition after shots were fired in a North Las Vegas apartment complex Tuesday night.
North Las Vegas police say it all started when the suspect shot a man and a woman inside an apartment around 8:30 p.m. near Cheyenne and Pecos.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was transported to UMC.
The suspect then barricaded himself in a different apartment. Police tried getting the man out for several hours.
They eventually made their way into the apartment and found the suspect dead, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
