Suspicious item slows U.S. 95 traffic for hours

A robot blows apart a suspicious device that shut down U.S. 95 at the Spaghetti Bowl for hours this afternoon. News 3's Denise Rosch has a report.

Metro has reopened both lanes on U.S. 95 between Las Vegas Boulevard and the Spaghetti Bowl after removing a suspicious device.

U.S. 95 between Las Vegas Boulevard and the Spaghetti Bowl had been closed in both directions abecause of a suspicious device. The item has been removed.

Motorist should expect some delays.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is handling the situation.
