LAS VEGAS (KSNV & Las Vegas Sun) -- More than 70 friends and family members of Trevor Zarvian gathered Sunday evening at Windmill Parkway and Thayer Avenue in Henderson to honor the 19-year-old who was killed at the site.
Zarvian was killed when the Dodge Stratus he was in collided with a PT cruiser, killing him and his friend, Johnny Castiblanco, 19.
Castiblanco, Zarvian and another friend, 18-year-old Ryan Fuentes, were hanging out and decided run an errand. As they drove east on Windmill Parkway back to Bobenhausen's house, Henderson Police said their Dodge Stratus collided with a PT Cruiser that was attempting to turn left into an apartment complex from the westbound lanes, near Thayer Avenue.
Castiblanco and Zarvian died at the scene. The driver of the PT Cruiser, an 86-year-old man, died later at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, police said.
Fuentes remains hospitalized at Sunrise with a broken femur, right arm, ribs, nose and eye socket, said Ryan Ehrenberg, 19, Fuentes’ friend.
