Volunteers are up before dawn to count the homeless

LAS VEGAS -- According to the department of housing and urban development Las Vegas currently has the third largest homeless population in the country, trailing only New York City and Los Angeles.

This week volunteers are taking a new census. News 3's Denise Rosch takes a look at how federal funding is tied to those numbers.
