LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – One person was injured after a fire this morning in a mobile home park on the east side of Las Vegas.

The Clark County Fire Department responded just before 5 a.m. to reports of a fire in a double-wide trailer home at Shadow Mountain Mobile Home Park in the 2800 block of South Lamb Boulevard, near Vegas Valley Drive.

Upon arrival fire crews found the residence fully involved in fire, with multiple trailers being threatened. Crews took quick action to keep the surrounding trailers from burning and then were able to knock down the fire in the original mobile home space.

Paramedics treated one of the two occupants from the home for minor burn injuries. This patient was transported to UMC for further treatment. Red Cross Disaster Action Team volunteers are meeting with the residents.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the CCFD Fire Investigation Division. Damage estimates are at $80,000.

A total of 32 Clark County Fire Fighters responded to this incident.
