IDs released of motorcyclists killed in separate accidents

LAS VEGAS (KSNV – The Clark County coroner’s office has released the identities of the men killed in separate motorcycle accidents Tuesday in Las Vegas.

Robert Roeder, 73, of Las Vegas was killed just before 2 p.m. when his 2005 Suzuki scooter was struck by a vehicle attempting to make a left turn from eastbound Charleston Boulevard onto northbound Durango Drive.

Frederick Pete, 30, of Henderson was killed just before 5 p.m. on Tropicana Avenue just west of Paradise Road. Witnesses said Pete was riding recklessly, speeding and weaving in and out of traffic before he struck a vehicle and was ejected from the motorcycle.

The deaths of Roeder and Pete were the 64th and 65th in Metro's jurisdiction this year.
