Crews tackle fire at vacant home near Hacienda, Stephanie

LAS VEGAS (KSNV – Six engine companies and a truck were needed to extinguish a house fire this morning near East Hacienda Avenue and North Stephanie Street.

According to Clark County Fire Department Chief John Steinbeck, the call came in around 9:45 a.m. for the fire that started in an outdoor shed and spread to the home on the 5200 block of Denning Street. The residence was vacant, and there were no injuries.

Investigators will check whether squatters were present in the area.
