LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Jessie Foster was 21 when her mother says a man lured Jessie from Canada to Las Vegas.

“We found out right away that Jessie had been beaten and hospitalized with a broken jaw and that she had been forced to work at an escort agency,” Glendene Grant said.

Jessie has been missing since 2006.

“They told us that Jessie is literally a classic case of modern day human trafficking,” Grant said.

Grant learned about human trafficking and travels to speak about it.

The connections she's found makes Monday's discovery of three missing women in Ohio all the more real.

“I got to know a woman named Nancy Ruiz, whose daughter is Gina de Jesus,” she said. “Now Gina de Jesus, after almost 10 years missing, is one of the three women who were rescued in Cleveland, Ohio.”

“Now we have these other women, almost up to 10 years missing. … I don't know; something in me tells me that we're going to find Jessie soon.”

But even with renewed hope, heartache remains.

“You know she's a tiny little thing … 110, 115 pounds, and she leaves this gaping hole, the size the whole Earth could fit in,” Grant said. “I just feel like a part of me is missing. My grandchildren all know who Auntie Jess is from pictures. It's heartbreaking. You know they just want to see her. They want to hug her.”

To those who have Jessie, her mother says this: “What I'd like to say to whoever has Jessie, it's been long enough, you need to let her go, you need to let her go now before she's found and you're captured. Just let her go and give her back to us.”
