Big deal- these guys need to go find real criminals. At least half the people want MJ legalized anyway, so why should the other half tell them it can't be? The people in NV have spoken and the lawmakers need to follow through on their responsibility to make it happen. But as usual, the politicos get nothing done but tax and steal.

I was thinking they might be connected too. I wish NV would legalize it and stop all this nonsense. Growers please put your grow houses on the outskirts of town so it dosen't bother the neighbors and maybe they won't snitch on you, the smell will always give you away.

I have an idea. Let's follow the Colorado and Washington State model. Legalize marijuana, then license and regulate it like alcohol. There would be no need for "grow houses" as licensed manufacturers could use commercial space. These licensed businesses would pay taxes to Las Vegas and Nevada. It's not like we haven't made everthing other sin legal, here. With house values as low as they are in Las Vegas, we will never eliminate the grow houses with a Prohibition economy or law enforcement. What Metro is telling Las Vegas homeowners with those drug valuations is that you can eliminate your underwater mortgage with one small grow. Legalization, taxing, and regulation are the only way to permanently eliminate this problem. Still, I think these unregulated grow houses are a big neighborhood problem. They present dangers to the neighbors in the type of people they attract, due to their unlicensed nature, and lack of safety. Even more reason to legalize and regulate.

Metro keep up the good work, citizens and residents keep your eye open on houses that are being rented. Renter, you have better be doing some kind of background check on potential renters, it may come back and bit you in the butt. I hope these two are not US citizens, that way we can deport them.

We the People petition Obama to replace liquor stores with marijuana dispensaries. http://wh.gov/PHy5 Any liquor store that stops selling alcohol gets an automatic license to sell marijuana.
