BOULDER CITY (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The identity of one of the victims in Sunday’s plane crash has been released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Cody Allen Hall, 23, of North Las Vegas was one of two people who were killed in a single-engine airplane crash near the Boulder City Airport.
Police Chief Bill Conger said the plane crashed in the desert about a mile short of Runway 9 about 3 p.m. Sunday near U.S. 95 and Silverline Road.
Conger said he did not have any information on the aircraft and where it had come from or if it was returning to the airport because of problems.
A Las Vegas resident and private pilot who did not want to be identified told News 3 that he was riding the excursion train in the area and he saw the plane going "low and slow" shortly before the crash.
