LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Officials at Las Vegas Fire & Rescue say it could set a record, responding to the most calls this year than ever before.

Fire & Rescue says they respond to about 275 calls a day.

If the department stays on track, it will hit 100,000 for 2013, which would set a record.

Most of the calls are emergency medical calls, but also include fires, hazardous materials and bomb squad responses.
