Metro says bank robbery suspect strikes again

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says a suspect in past bank robberies is now possibly involved in a third theft.

Metro says the suspect struck again at approximately 12:30 p.m. Monday in the area of Maryland Parkway and Sahara.

The first robbery occurred around 3:50 p.m. June 4 in the area of Nellis and Vegas Valley. The second was around 11:30 a.m. June 11 in the area of Desert Inn and Decatur.

In all the events, the suspect approached the teller, demanded money and then fled once receiving it.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s or 40s, 5-foot-6 to 5-9, approximately 160 pounds with a medium build and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a leather cap, a black T-shirt and blue jeans.

Tips directly leading to an arrest or an indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
