LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is emphasizing a popular request before the Independence Day holiday weekend: If you see something, say something.

During a news conference this morning, Metro Capt. Chris Jones reminds the public that every big holiday brings in many visitors to the Las Vegas area. The Fourth of July celebrations will include fireworks displays, soccer tournaments, concerts, parades and other sporting events.

That will attract some people looking to take advantage of those situations, so Jones asks the public to maintain a vigilant eye and do not hesitate to call Metro if you suspect something.
