Woman critical after being struck on Boulder Highway

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – A woman is in critical condition Tuesday night after being struck attempting to walk across Boulder Highway south of Indios Avenue.

According to a news release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a 1995 Nissan pickup truck was traveling southbound just after 7:45 p.m. on Boulder Highway in the middle travel lane, approximately 150 feet south of Indios Avenue.

The pedestrian was walking across Boulder Highway from the east to the west, outside a marked crosswalk. She entered the middle travel lane and was struck by the Nissan. The pedestrian was transported to Sunrise Trauma and admitted with critical injuries.

This accident remains under investigation by Metro’s Accident Investigation Section.
