Metro arrests suspect in sexual assault near Strip, Flamingo

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said today that it has arrested a man suspected of a sexual assault March 12 near Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard South.

Oreste Perez, 21, was found by Metro detectives Thursday night in the 5900 block of Hickory Nut Avenue in Las Vegas and placed into custody.

Perez was booked into the Clark County Detention Center where he faces charges of sexual assault, battery with intent to commit sexual assault, kidnapping and coercion.
