Two dead after shooting at apartment near Nellis, Sahara

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is seeking information about a shooting Sunday night that left two people dead.

According to a Metro news release, the LVMPD Call Center received a 911 call from a person around 11:45 p.m. reporting gunshots in the 5100 block of East Sahara Avenue. Arriving patrol officers discovered two deceased males with apparent gunshot wounds.

Homicide detectives have learned an argument ensued between two groups of individuals resulting in gunfire which struck both males.

The motive behind this shooting is unknown. No suspect or suspects have been identified. The investigation remains ongoing.

The identity of the deceased as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
