LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- This Rip-Off Alert comes courtesy of a News 3 viewer who forwarded an interesting email for a job posting on Craigslist.

The poorly worded email said there won't be an interview as the employer is in Australia.

Her duties would be to go shopping for the employee and receive packages, although the posting was for office administration, and she would be paid in advance.

The viewer says she knew it was a scam. The major red flag is the prepayment, according to the National Consumers League.

It's usually a ploy to build trust, but the checks are elaborate fakes.

News 3’s Marie Mortera tried to contact the company. The person who answered said since she was not answering the job posting, there was no need for an interview, and hung up.
