LAS VEGAS – The FBI-led Las Vegas Criminal Apprehension Team Task Force on Monday arrested Marquee Munerlyn, 27, for allegedly committing three bank robberies in the Las Vegas valley, all on the same day.
According to a federal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court of Nevada, Munerlyn allegedly robbed the following banks on Saturday:
•U.S. Bank inside Smith’s food store located at 830 S. Boulder Hwy., Henderson.
•U.S. Bank inside Von’s food store located at 2667 Windmill Parkway, Henderson.
•U.S. Bank inside Albertson’s food store located at 7350 S. Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas.
In all three bank robberies, the subject passed threatening notes to the tellers and demanded cash. During one of the robberies the subject allegedly told the teller he wanted “no rubber bands” wrapped around the money. No one was hurt during any of the robberies.
After developing and following investigative leads, the CAT Task Force took Munerlyn into custody without incident outside his Las Vegas residence.
The CAT Task Force is an FBI-led federal fugitive task force consisting of the FBI Las Vegas Division, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Henderson Police Department.
