LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- A convention designed to teach prospective business owners how to profit from marijuana drew a big crowd in Las Vegas.

The International Cannabis Associations Expo at the Hard Rock featured dozens of guest speakers and vendors.

The event covered everything from security technology to marijuana products and consulting services.

The expo also included a model medical marijuana dispensary, which is something we will be seeing in local neighborhoods soon.

"I've never seen a dispensary; I went out to Colorado and said 'Wow,' this is what it is and most of our attendees have never seen a dispensary," said Dan Hummington International Cannabis Associations.

The two-day Expo drew around a thousand people and each of them invested $800 for a ticket.
