LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) — The Las Vegas City Council today will dive into 30 pages of proposed licensing regulations on medical marijuana businesses, possibly eliminating some and keeping others.

Within those proposals are tough restrictions on advertising that are angering the Nevada Broadcasters Association.

Those regulations would not allow medical marijuana advertising on television or radio. However, it would be allowed in newspapers, magazines and online.

Councilman Bob Coffin calls the advertising proposals too conservative. He says he does not think the proposed advertising restrictions will hold up in court.
