Kamryn Renfro shaved her head in support of her friend, Delaney Clements, who is battling Neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer, and relapsed in January.

The story gained national attention after Kamryn’s bold move got her kicked out of class.

The school's dress code policy states that students are not allowed to have a shaved head.

In an executive session on Tuesday night, the board voted to allow and exception for what they call "an extraordinary cause worthy of our highest regard."
