(NBC News) Frustration, concern and calls for justice continue across the country in the wake of the "not guilty" verdict in the George Zimmerman second degree murder trial.

Dozens carried their anger over verdict into the governor's office in Tallahassee, Florida, while mounted police were called in to break up a march outside a courthouse in Houston.

The protests turned violent overnight in Los Angeles, where an angry crowd crashed businesses, assaulted bystanders and at times stopped traffic.
