LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- He calls himself just a Las Vegas kid trying to ride his bike all the way to London. Connor Fields has done that.

Fields is one of three Americans to race BMX for team USA at the London Olympics.

Fields is the fastest bike racers in the world right now. Fields is riding for gold in BMX super cross at the London Olympics. Yesterday, Mackenzie Warren showed us a day at the track, today, a personal perspective.

As news 3's Mackenzie Warren tells us, the southern Nevadan is an Olympic favorite.

Athough I can't ever agree that BMX should be an Olympic event, I wish him well. Go Vegas!
