LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- You don't have to fly across the pond to see a gold medalist in person.
We have one living right here in Las Vegas -- and you can see her in her element for free every week making a splash at a local casino.
You can find Heather Carrasco four days out of the week swimming with her tail and fellow fish buddies at the Silverton Casino.
But before her days with a fish tail -- heather swam competitively for 18 years, both nationally and internationally.
During that time she won five national championships and seven world cup championships, topping off her career with a gold medal in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
