CARSON CITY -- News 3's Capitol Correspondent Mackenzie Warren is asking lawmakers in Carson City if they will support a new sales tax that will go toward putting more police on the streets.
This bill's tax increase is appropriately called "More Cops Bill." It passed last week by county commissioners in a vote of approval but state lawmakers will have the final say.
