The panel also will hear from Dr. Conrad Murray himself. Prosecutors plan to play a more than two-hour interview conducted by police with the Houston-based cardiologist two days after Jackson's June 2009 death.

Transcripts of discussions between the judge and attorneys Tuesday show that the prosecution's next witnesses are investigators who helped put together the timeline that is central to the government's case.

Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in connection with Jackson's death. He faces up to four years behind bars and the loss of his medical license if convicted.
