Dear Mr. Reid, Your analogy today about the glass of water thanks to government, ignores the fact that the $$$ that paid for that came from taxpayers. As tax payers, we expect our government, both local, state and national to meet certain needs that are best delivered by government and for that we are willing to pay taxes. Asking us to thank them for providing a service we "hired" them to provide reeks of a mentality that we exist courtesy of our government and not vice versa. Respectfully, R.B. Gustavson
