LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Three people were injured late this morning when a driver ran a red light at U.S. 95 and Las Vegas Boulevard North just north of downtown.
The accident happened about 11:30 a.m.
"Based on reports from people at the scene, a car exited the 95 and blew through a red light on Las Vegas Boulevard and hit two other vehicles," said Sgt. Kevin Honea of the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Honea said a woman suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and the two other injured people were treated and released from UMC Trauma. At least one victim had to be extricated from a vehicle.
Traffic has returned to normal after severalhours of congestion.
