LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- As an accused child-murderer sits behind bars in Las Vegas, her family talks to a reporter 1,800 miles away in Mississippi. They say she was ill and stressed.

We're also learning more about a serious accusation in this woman's past. News 3's Elizabeth Donatelli has more details.

Lets not confuse mental illness for losing one's temper. It appears that Stokes was jealous and lost her temper more than having a mental illness.
